Good planning is the crucial element to the ideal home. Designers are often left with little or no usable space to create an interesting and distinct look, where most of the time it only takes the movement of a wall, window or doorway to make the difference.

“With the current trends moving more and more towards eclectic, it’s all about mixing different colours, patterns and objects creating a unique and interesting appearance”  says owner of Artcraft Design Phil Andrews.

Sometimes creating a bold, unusual interior involves a delicate balancing act. Out-of-the-ordinary materials or unusual combinations that find linking elements allow disparate parts to work as unified whole.
